Global T20 Canada 2024 is the fourth edition of the league. Selecting 4 Canadian players is mandatory for every team. The defending champions of the tournament are the Montreal Tigers. In February 2018, the ICC granted approval for the GT20 Canada league to promote cricket in North America. Star Sports in India will be broadcasting the live broadcast of Global T20 Canada. The 25-match tournament commences on July 25th and concludes on August 11th, 2024. This includes 21 League matches, one Eliminator match, one Qualifier match, and one Final match. All games will take place at the CAA Centre in Brampton, Ontario.
There are few notable international players in the GT20 League 2024 like Marcus Stoinis, Colin Munro, Chris Lynn, Tom Latham, Carlos Brathwaite, Aaron Johnson, Shakib Al Hasan, David Wiese, David Warner, Andrew Tye etc.
